WE'RE LOOKING FOR PORTRAIT ARTISTS!
But what exactly are we looking for?
Artists who would be interested in creating 20 minute portraits on Dundas Place on September 16th or 23rd all while being socially distanced of course! We had a lot of fun with pet portraits last year and would love to see what kind of exciting portraits you can come up with! Are you writing a poem? Making a plant persona? Or even a dating profile! The choice is up to you.
Here are some details to keep in mind:
-
These events will be from 6pm-9pm, while the street is closed.
-
Each session will be 20 minutes, with 10 minute breaks in between (Meaning you will have up to six sessions).
-
Each portrait will be $25 with $20 going towards the artist, and $5 to TAP (This will help us cover staffing, service fees and paper).
-
We will be providing you with paper, a drawing donkey, board and patron seating.
-
You can bring whichever medium you are most comfortable using as long as it is a quick drying medium (so not oils or acrylic).
-
After your acceptance, we will ask you to send over a sample so that we can promote your portrait session!
These are the safety procedures:
-
TAP will handle bookings and transactions to limit your physical contact with patrons.
-
We will be mailing you a cheque after your event!
-
People will be asked to stay 2 meters away from you to keep you safe.
-
You will be required to wear a mask during this interaction.
-
Anyone who is not being illustrated will be required to wear a mask as well.
-
Hand sanitizer stations will be located on the street and security will be provided through Dundas Place to help keep everyone safe.
