About The Event

Projected on 16mm film: Films by Barbara Sternberg, Lucas Haynes, Deborah Stratman, Phil Solomon, Michael Robinson, Louise Bourque, Charlotte Pryce, and Robert Todd.

A selection of expressive short films centred in familial settings wade through a facade of nostalgia to investigate an unseen psyche of anxieties and upheaval. Private reminiscences evoke internal struggles with absence and loss amid uncertain dread and unspoken desire.
