TAP Centre For Creativity programs exhibition, performance, and presentation opportunities where artists can create, collaborate and share. We welcome submissions from groups and individual artists interested in presenting in our facility. Our galleries, theatre, and studios are available to book for a wide range of creative events, such as music, poetry, dance, film, visual arts, performance and more.
The Main Gallery
The main gallery is bright space with LED lights and features an easy to use hanging system. For exhibitions this space is generally booked for periods of two or four weeks per exhibition. For events, the main galley space has a projector and fixed screen available for use, along with seating options and a licensed bar and can be booked for single or multiday events.

LAB 203
LAB 203 is bright two room space with LED lights adjacent to the main gallery and windows viewable from the street. For exhibitions this space is generally booked for periods of four weeks per exhibition.

The Bruce B. Johnson Theatre
The Bruce B. Johnson Theatre inside TAP Centre For Creativity can be rented for theatrical productions, concerts, film screenings, stand-up comedy, lectures and other cultural events. This black box theatre rental includes 74 seats in the default configuration, a backstage area, dressing rooms, the use of our lighting and sound consoles, plus a variety of stage lights, curtains and other relevant accessories that you may install to achieve your artistic vision.
Please note that the theatre is an accessible space via our main gallery.

Due to the complexity of reconfiguring the risers, the proposal must provide written notification of their intentions and receive approval from TAP management.

The Cocker-Fulton Studio
The Cocker-Fulton Studio is our third floor open studio space, which is offered at an affordable booking rates to photographers, videographers, and more. At approximately 640 square feet, the studio has exposed brick walls, wood floors and large windows, making it an ideal setting for video shoots, photography sessions, rehearsals and small group meetings.
Please note that the third floor space is not accessible by elevator so all access is via stairs.
