Don Pyle x Kirby

This collaboration between longtime friends photographer Don Pyle and poet Kirby explored their time in various gay scenes through the 70's to the present mostly focused on their time in Toronto. Through stories, poems and images these artists showcase both the joy and difficulty of this community through the AIDS crisis and the process of continuing to come to terms with one's identity as it continues to morph through age.

This presentation took place in person at TAP Centre for Creativity on March 2nd 2022. This experience is not to translate to video, but those interested in these artists are encouraged to explore their published works.
