Tingfest 2026 Events

Ting Comic and Graphic Arts Festival takes place from Friday, May 1 to Saturday, June 6.
Join us for the opening reception on May 9 from 6PM-9PM with a special opening night performance.
You won't want to miss the party!
These events and workshops complement the exhibition and Ting shop in TAP’s gallery, during which everyone can attend at any time during operating hours (Tuesdays-Saturdays, 12:00 – 5:00 pm). This festival features free events and programs.
This festival is made possible with the generous support of Lina and Chris Bowden of Cambia Development Foundation, Heroes Comics, Dundas Place, Chops Framing Supplies, Western Libraries Archives and Special Collections, Central Branch LPL, Tourism London, and Downtown London. A special thank you to Cameron Tingley and family for their support.

Our Kid’s Zone features a selection of graphic novels and comics to inspire the next generation of creators, so drop in to read and enjoy the great selection of books provided by the London Public Library. A creation station will also keep the little ones busy with fun, comic-related activities they can create, colour and post on our comic wall.
Families can drop in any time during our operating hours to participate! Free.
“Punk Rock” Poster Mash-Up
Ting exhibiting artists Billy Bert Young and Aidan Urquhart will lead a Ting Punk Rock activity as part of this year’s festival. Pull up a seat at the activity table and select collage materials and supplies to make your very own 8.5 x14 poster. Look for the tent right here in front of TAP. A huge shoutout to Punk Rock Flea Market London for providing space to create on Dundas Place.

This event will showcase publications and original materials created by developing and established SWO zinesters. Purchase artist books, comics, zines and handmade items by the coolest creators right here at TAP. The Zine Expo is a Art Crawl Thursdays event.

Ting Opening Reception
Mix and mingle with our featured Ting artists and explore the Ting shop. This is a great opportunity to connect with passionate readers, artists, and culture enthusiasts. As we wind up the evening we will relinquish the floor to Ting exhibiting artist Matt James and the Petite TBE, a four-piece version of The Très Bien Ensemble. The band will riff on some TBE favorites and offer us a little 4-piece music improvisation.
Saturday May 9, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Free Event.

TING Edition Comic Jam
Join us for a special Ting edition of the London Comic Jam hosted by RP Comics and Heroes Comics. This session will throw a challenge on the table asking jammers to use the number 10 or images in multiples of 10 from panel to panel. An event for all ages, this is a creative event where artists and comic enthusiasts can socialize, grab a beverage, and collaborate on a single comic. You start by drawing the first panel and then slide it across the table and see what the next person adds to the story. The results are always amazing and many times downright hilarious. Bring your favourite pencils and prepare to improvise!
Monday May 11, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Free Event.
The Exchange
This is the second time we are bringing The Exchange to the festival, but this year we are turning things on its head. We are putting Brahm and Scott head-to-head in dialogue to share five of their favourite comics or graphic novels. And because we just can’t leave things alone, we are inviting craft beer enthusiasts, Ben Johnson of Ben’s Beer Blog to team up with each of our guests and share his brewery beverage of choice for each literary pick. The conversation is sure to inspire new reading material on your list and a new favourite or two at your local craft brewery or pub.
Brahm Wiseman is owner and operator of Heroes Comics and Scott Chantler is the creator of the critically-acclaimed graphic novels Squire & Knight, BIX, and Two Generals.
Tuesday May 26, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Free Event.
