Bonnie Parkinson burst onto the advertising scene in her early twenties during the height of the 60’s cultural revolution—the era when fashions rocked the world and creativity knew no bounds. As one of the few women navigating Canada’s male-driven world of fashion illustration, she captured this spirit through her work with Eaton’s, Simpson’s, and “Mad Men” ad agencies. Her drawings reflected the rhythm of the times—dreamin’, and hanging with the cool crowd while Carnaby Street set the trends. Now, sixty years later, Bonnie has picked up her pen once again.
