Join playwright Jason Rip at the Script Lab for a reading and Q&A. The two works selected for the evening are:

NOTTINGHAM

Directed by Kim Kaitell

Starring Chris McAuley, John Turner, David Pasquino, Aimee O'Beirn, James Wybrow, andan Sam Shoebottom

Alsace Lawton, the temporary Sheriff of Nottingham, struggles to maintain his dignity and livelihood against the latest band of terrorists to plague his neck of the woods.

TO ASHES II

Directed by Jeff Culbert

Starring Jeff Werkmeister, Tyler Parr, and Heather May.

Eighteen years ago, they almost killed each other fighting over a name. This time, backed by the women in their life, there will be a victor.

JASON RIP is the author of 99 plays including BEARD: A FEW MOMENTS IN THE LIFE OF ROY MCDONALD, MY NAME IS MARGARET HARMAN, and nine years of the LOST SOUL STROLL. He is the 2018 recipient of the Chris Doty Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatre and was named a Distinguished Londoner in the 2023 Mayor's Honour List. He is currently working on his last play ( about John The Baptist ) and a collection of London and area folklore called SOUWESTO NOIR.
