About the Exhibition:

PRFM X: 10 Years in Print is a retrospective exhibition celebrating a decade of poster art, visual identity, and community-building through Punk Rock Flea Market London. Founded in 2016 at Call The Office, PRFM began as a small DIY market created by artists, musicians, and community organizers looking to build the kind of space they wanted to exist in: accessible, collaborative, weird, welcoming, and rooted in community. Over the last ten years, PRFM has grown into a large-scale public arts event, while its visual identity has remained deeply connected to the artists and creative community who helped shape it along the way. 

This exhibition brings together more than 40 posters and promotional works created for PRFM between 2016 and 2026. Featuring work by longtime collaborator Jeremy Bruneel, alongside Alex Hann, Em Cunningham, Jackie Borrie, Alyssa Waterbury, Memengwaans Ireland, Nat Malheiro, Alayna Hryclik, Julie Kortekaas, and Shayna Patterson, the collection documents the evolution of not only an event, but the community that grew alongside it. Originally created to promote markets, shows, and gatherings, these works were never intended to exist within gallery walls. They were designed to be wheatpasted on poles, shared online, screen printed, passed between friends, and used to pull people into rooms. Over time, they became something larger: a visual archive of ten years of shows, artists, vendors, friendships, collaborations, and people continuing to show up for one another. 

PRFM has always existed somewhere between high and lowbrow culture. Punk flyers, skateboarding, live music, artist markets, installation work, and community organizing can all exist alongside one another without hierarchy. This exhibition embraces that same spirit, recognizing poster art and promotional design as legitimate cultural work, particularly within DIY communities where documentation can be fleeting and so much of their history risks disappearing along with the spaces that created it. At a time when so much visual culture feels temporary, automated, or disconnected from human touch, PRFM X: 10 Years in Print celebrates handmade work, collaborative process, and the lasting impact of artists creating for and within their own communities. 

Ten years later, these posters are more than advertisements for events that have already happened. They are evidence that they happened at all. They hold pieces of the people, places, bands, artists, ideas, and relationships that built PRFM. Together, they tell the story of a creative community that made the space it wanted to exist in. More than an archive, this exhibition is a celebration of collective effort, creative survival, and ten years of people continuing to show up for one another.

JEREMY BRUNEEL

Jeremy Bruneel is a freelance artist/illustrator who was born outside Chatham, Ontario. Jeremy currently lives in London and primarily works doing portrait painting, album cover illustration, book illustration, and concert poster design. Jeremy's work features imaginative characters that often draw inspiration from his childhood experiences and the emotions of growing up in a small town. You will discover in his art his various interests; comic books, his love of music, and classic horror iconography. @jeremybruneelillustrator

ALEX HANN 

Alex Hann is a proud self-taught lowbrow graphic designer, illustrator, and screen printer who has spent over 15 years successfully avoiding a real desk job by submerging himself in the underground scene. Based in London, Ontario, he balances his time as a co-owner of the London Skateboard Co-op, the mastermind behind Ugly Goods & Services, and Adam's right-hand man at Rezonance Printing. Alex has built a career out of cooking up weird, gritty visuals for everything from local zines to massive international festivals, quietly drawing stuff for some of the biggest comedians in the world, though he’d never admit it too loudly. When he isn't covered in ink, you can find him supporting the Punk Rock Flea Market London or posting his latest delightfully warped creations online under his moniker, @garbagepailpapi 

EM CUNNINGHAM 

Em Cunningham is a Kitchener based artist, and the designer behind Hushpuppy Designs, an independent art and illustration business since 2019. After building a career in the corporate world, Em took the leap to leave to pursue art fulltime and focus on bettering her mental health through a job she truly loved and hasn’t looked back since. What started off as a business for personal portraits and commissions only, Em’s love for tattoo culture began to define her style and direction. Finding inspiration in a way to motivate others through their hardest times, Em became set on creating Art for the Underdogs and building a community for those just trying their best. Mixing traditional tattoo imagery with subject matter of perseverance and strength, Em continues to build her brand and her messaging through her art. 

ALYSSA WATERBURY 

Alyssa Waterbury is an illustrator from London, Ontario. A graduate of Sheridan College's illustration program, her narrative work has appeared in two early reader books; Ghost Girl (Brooke Carter) in 2023, as well as This Book Stinks! (Danielle Saint-Onge, Jeff Szpirglas), 2026. Londoners may also know her 2024 poster design for TAP's Tingfest, featuring Merle Tingley's "Luke Worm" hiding out in a stack of books. For her personal practice, Alyssa enjoys turning her latest obsessions into prints, zines and thoughtful embroidery pieces. Her illustrated print of The Green Lady of Brooklyn as well as her "Secrets" zine series have made their way to a number of London homes and abroad! For her May 2026 PRFM London poster, Alyssa drew inspiration from London's downtown architecture, as well as the local wildlife. Can you spot Luke Worm amidst the busy streetscape? 

MEMENGWAANS IRELAND 

Memengwaans Ireland (Mem) is an Ojibwe & Oneida artist from Aamjiwnaang First Nation, currently based in London, Ontario. Mem has been making art since she was very young. She has worked with many types of mediums including, drawing, painting, installation, sculpture, glass etching. Recently she mainly focuses on creating digital & ink illustrations as well as beaded jewellery. Mem graduated from Fanshawe Fine Art in 2018 and decided to stay in London. She eventually started at Rezonance printing in their indigenous youth mentorship program learning to screen print and was introduced to the artist and art market community in London. Since then she has been participating in various art markets and community opportunities, vending and creating promotional art for different events. 

JACKIE BORRIE 

Jackie Borrie is a graphic designer and illustrator in London, Ontario. She loves typography, grainy textures, and colour palettes that make her hungry. She is inspired by nature, nostalgia, tattoo flash and lacy doilies. 

NAT MALHEIRO 

Nat Malheiro is a graphic designer living in London, ON, with her muse and cat, Moody Star Malheiro. Her work has always had a gravitational pull toward riot grrrl and punk aesthetics, paired with a heavy use of bright colours and meticulously placed details. When she’s not designing, she’s daydreaming about her future, learning new hands-on creative skills, and eating copious amounts of olives. 

ALAYNA HRYCLIK 

soft flirt makes tender art for gentle hearts. With a focus on screen-printed apparel, tattoos, illustrations and mural painting, forest city artist Alayna Hryclik infuses her ethos of softness into various art making techniques. With one short but beloved year of BealArt and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (‘13) from Western University, Alayna’s history of art making is tied to London. You can find her work all around the city if you know where to look -- covering walls with tender murals, tattooing the locals, collaborating on merchandise for local businesses & clothing community members with comfort. soft flirt has a passion for curating local connections through community events such as Punk Rock Flea Market, Soft Fest, Print Pop and more. 

JULIE KORTEKAAS 

Julie Kortekaas is a designer, booker, band manager, ultimate cookie baker, and longtime co-organizer of PRFM London. Her work pulls inspiration from music, gig posters, tattoos DIY design, and the art that surrounds the scene she loves. She spends her time making things look rad, booking the ultimate PRFM lineups, and usually doing both at the same time. 

SHAYNA PATTERSON 

Shayna Patterson is mostly retired from making physical art, but will never stop creating things. These days, she spends her time creating events, commissioning art, and dreaming and scheming art projects with friends. She has spent the last ten years organizing Punk Rock Flea Market London, where she continues to find increasingly elaborate ways to bring creative people together, and finding any excuse to get cool people to make cool shit.
