About The Event

Learn how to paint in oils in a way you have never learned before! Using what’s known as the colorist approach, we will examine how to paint a picture in a fun way that calls for mixing all your colors directly on the canvas rather than on the palette. The result is strikingly realistic, yet bolder and more colourful with a glow that one cannot achieve with a more traditional approach. Through demonstrations, lectures and hands on practice, after learning the techniques in this course you may never approach painting the same way again.

Thursday evenings 6:30-9:30pm

November 14, 21, 28 and December 5, 2019 (Registration closes November 7th)

Instructor: Paul Abeleira

Location: Cocker Fulton Studio
