The Bruce B. Johnson Theatre inside TAP Centre For Creativity can be rented for theatrical productions, concerts, film screenings, stand-up comedy, lectures and other cultural events. The rental includes 80 seats in the default configuration, a backstage area, the use of our lighting and sound consoles, plus a variety of lights, stage curtains and other relevant accessories that you may install to achieve your artistic vision.

 

Stage Dimensions: 

• 25’ (length) x 29’ (width) x 10’ (height) in default north/south configuration. 

• Details will vary if changed to thrust, in-the-round, west/east configuration.
  Due to the complexity of reconfiguring the risers, the Lessee must provide written notification of their intentions and receive approval from TAP management.

*Available only upon advance request and will be subject to additional rental fee. The Lessee must provide the playback device they wish to connect to the projector.

Booking:

• The Bruce B. Johnson Theatre is in high demand and bookings discussions should begin 6-12 months in advance.

• Please contact us at info@tapcreativity.org with details of your event and an ideal list of available dates.

• The signed rental agreement and payment of the booking deposit (50% of rental rate) are required to confirm a booking.

• The remaining balance is required 8 weeks prior to the event date. 

 

Additional Notes:

• A lighting and sound technician is not included in the rental rate. TAP can recommend local technicians available for hire at your request.

• The Lessee is solely responsible for setting up the theatre and restoring its default configuration. Additional fees will apply for non-compliance.

• Box office opens 1 hour prior to show time. We do not allow late admissions.
